Color of the University
Yellow is the color of glorious light, success, as well as the color of the auspicious prosperity.
The Tree of the University
Yang (Dipterocarpus alatus Roxb.) is a tropical forest tree, of dense evergreen or mixed dense forests. It often occurs gregariously along river banks and is a key planting species for regenerating deforested land. This tree is an endangered species in its natural habitat. His Majesty asked to preserved it and conferred as a sacred tree seedlings which were planted in places. Its fruit has 2 long wings and 3 short ones; when it is falling from the tree to be blown away by the wind which can be compared the knowledge brought and intellectual growth to Social Development all around and any places.
